Programming and Development / WPF
« Last post by green on November 16, 2017, 11:24:58 am »

I'm not sure if this project is still active, but I have been using it very successfully for some time, and am very pleased with it
I would like to update my existing project to WPF to better cope with scaling on high DPI screens
I have had a preliminary play embedding the EGIS controls in Windows Forms Host controls, but have found that the Egis list control appears with the toolbar only partly visible. I'm a noob with WPF but altering the padding and margins doesn't seem to help

I wonder if anyone else has successfully managed this and could provide advice

Programming and Development / MultiPointM
« Last post by thetoad30 on February 18, 2017, 06:59:25 am »
Is there any reason that MultiPointM is not supported?

I ask because it seems like it's the same as MultiPoint or PointM in terms of what's required and optional, and wasn't sure why it was excluded.

Thank you for the help and time!

Hello Winston,

is there any news on this topic?

The problem that wrong coordinates are returned while the CTRL key is pressed seems still to occur:
It would be really great if there would be a way to fix this issue.

Looking forward to your reply!

Best regards and thanks

The GeomUtil.dll is written in C/C++ and uses the boost C++ libraries. It is pretty simple so I suspect that it would be possible to port it to ios.

I have not included this in the source code as I have tried to keep Easy GIS .NET self contained as I find it frustrating downloading software packages that have dependencies on other libraries. I will consider adding the code in the next release, but I probably wont offer much support and be aware that you will not be able to compile it without downloading the boost C++ libraries.

You can use the SFMap.GetBitmap method to return the current map view as a Bitmap. Use standard .Net methods to save the bitmap as a BMP/JPEG/PNG etc.

How to export and save the selected MAP location as bmp, pdf, png, jpeg etc.

I am thinking of using this in a application that would eventually be ported to ios.

Would it be possible to have availability to the geomutil.dll to see if it would be possible.

By the way this is a really great website.  Very well done.
